It's ground razor sharp out of 1055 carbon steel with a hard spring temper and protected by a black, rust resistant finish so it's ready to take all the abuse you and Mother Nature can dish out.
Heavy, sharp and wonderfully balanced, it's easy to throw by either the blade or handle and it hits with real vigor. It can be quickly and easily converted into a spear or war club. brilliant knife. very sharp from factory and so far very durable. don't half look the part too! the securex sheath works very nicely, even without the use of the pop button strap, the knife doesnt budge from out of the sheath! there are 2 things would have made the knife absolutely fantastic however. 1 - the handles can lack that little bit of extra grip if wet/sweaty etc.. if it really bothered you could just paracord the handle though. 2 - the knife would be a lot handier if it had a partially serrated edge. i still think its worthy of 5 stars though, especially for the price!! I've bought a few items from blades and bows, and so far this is the best!

A good quality basic Cold Steel blade that arrives sharp and ready to play. Very solid in the hand but not too heavy and the sheath is just right. And it makes a really nice heavy throwing knife which you don't have to fix after every bad throw. As usual the service from B&B was superb.

I would have dropped one star for this only because of the grip being less than something you can actually grip. Could certainly do with a paracord wrap or similar and definately a lanyard for safety. However, this is a fantastic knife for the price so it warrants the extra star. Great service from B&B as usual.

Very fast deliver and very well packaged first of all. The knife is excellent quality. A great survival knife and good for batoning and also fine for carving too. The sheath is very sturdy. This is a quality knife at a bargain price. I am definitely shopping here again. Thank you

A beautiful knife, as the description says it has no frills, but brilliantly made, solid and just perfect! And in all honesty, who wants a knife that may look nice, but cant do the job. Delivery was exceptional, ordered late friday evening and received it saturday morning, A+!! I've ordered many things over the past few years, and will surely be buying many things in the future, I highly recommend this knife, and blades and bows!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BLADE!!! <---- Really did need to be in capitals. There isn't any other way to express how much I love it. I've had it for about 2 1/2 hours now and I am in love with it, throws magnificently, heavy, sheath does its job. an all-round great piece. My first order but it WILL NOT BE THE LAST!!
