Delivery
When an item is in stock, as is normally the case, it will usually be despatched within 24 hours of receiving the order (excluding weekends and bank holidays).If there is any delay in despatching the order or the item is temporarily out of stock we will notify the purchaser by e-mail. No credit/debit card details are processed until the item is ready to post.We despatch larger items (items weighing 1.5kg and over) by a 24/48 hr courier service. Smaller items are sent by Royal Mail, 1st class recorded delivery. Whilst we will always try to ensure the parcel reaches its destination as quickly as possible, we will not accept responsibility for any delay caused by Royal Mail or UK Mail.
All items despatched by the courier are tracked and in the unlikely event of the parcel going missing, we will send out a replacement after 4 days of the expected delivery date.
Any item sent by Royal Mail is not officially missing until it has been out of circulation for 15 working days. Items will be replaced or refunded only after we receive confirmation from the Royal Mail that the item is lost.
If you miss your delivery Royal Mail should post a card through your letterbox should you be out and you can ether contact Royal Mail to arrange re-delivery or after 24 hours you can collect the item from your local Royal Mail depot. Royal Mail will hold the item for 10 days and if it is not collected the item will be returned to us. A re-delivery charge will be incured by the purchaser before we re-send any returned item .
The Couriers (UK Mail) will attempt delivery twice. The couriers should leave a card should you be out or access to your property is restricted and the couriers will attempt delivery on the next working day. Contact details for UK Mail will be on the card left so if re- delivery next day is a problem then contact them ASAP to arrange a suitable date. After two failed attempts to deliver the item it will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge will be incured by the purchaser before we dispatch the item again.
After placing your order keep an eye on your emails (spam box too) as you will get a dispatched email stating the estimated day of delivery .
If any special delivery requirements are necessary please e-mail us before placing your order. We can send items by Royal Mail or Parcel Force to arrive on Saturday, but it does incur a greater delivery charge.
Due to the varying laws of different countries and the very limited courier options (due to most couriers treating swords and knives etc as restricted items) we will no longer dispatch items outside the UK.
