 Late 18th Century Sgian Dubh

This sgian dubh is based on historical specimans of the late 18th century.

The wooden hilt is carved in a vigorous celtic style which had been a feature on fighting dirks and daggers for the previous century.

The pommel cap and ferrule re-inforce the wooden hilt against damage and are typical of the period.

The sgian dubh measures 8 5/8" (219mm) overall

and the blade measures 3 1/2" (89mm)
