* 2 AA batteries are required for the extra Ir torch .
Digital Night vision is the future . With comparable optics to many Gen2 Nv sights but at a fraction of the cost and many extra benefits .
The Pulsar is usable in both the daytime and night, giving a very versatile scope which does not tie your rifle up for just night time only use unlike more traditional Nv units.
Available as an extra is the Yukon MPR which allows you to digitally record whatever the scope sees, which makes it great to record your hunting session .
We have a demo unit set up on an air rifle and buyers are welcome to view the performance by appointment .

Below are two short videos of the Pulsar n550 in action using the 940 ir torch. Beware the footage shows images of rabbits being shot as part of pest control .
On video number 2 the longest shot rabbit was approx 60 - 70 yards away . Again the aditional ir light was from the 940 ir torch included in the kit .

I bought this about a month ago but wanted to use it properly before I wrote my review . Ive had a few night vision scopes over the years . Both add ons for my scope and dedicated set ups both gen 1 and gen 2 . The performance on the n550 is what I have been looking for in a Nv set up . Good gen 2 isn't cheap and compared to the n550 the scopes I have bought have not been superior even though the price was much higher . Maybe Ive just been unlucky as I bought a lot of my kit second hand and waisted a lot of money in the process . Wish the digital n550 was available when I first got interested in Nv as it would have saved me a fortune . This is now my only Nv unit and I share it between a low powered pcp for ratting round buildings and on my FAC airgun for rabbiting . I use the 940 torch mostly but for long range spotting I switch to the l-808 laser for the extra distance . Ordered from blades and bows as they were the only people to have one in stock , I did originally order it from a major UK gun shop but they took my money then said they had no stock so canceled my order and got it from here . My order came next day and I was ratting with it the following evening . 60+ rats in just under 2 hours which pleased the farmer no end . If your looking at getting into night vision I highly recommend the n550 as the best value and performance you will get for the money .
