With all the snow around at the minute I expected the delivery to be late (many major companies such as tesco, game etc are warning customers of this) but Blades and Bows kept to their word about providing fast deliveries! The crossbow itself is an amazing piece of kit, very powerful and accurate. And at such a low price, its a bargain!! Everything about Blades and Bows is superb. A first class company! Reviewer: Rich from Bedfordshire Have had this xbow for well over 2 weeks now and would like to start by saying what a brilliant service Blades and Bows provided, delivery was swift despite very poor weather conditions! The xbow itself is very well built in both regards to sturdiness and ease of set up. Very high power with impressive fps and accuracy is spot on. A very comfortable stock which fits into the body nicely when in a knelt position. The strap is really well made and highly comfortable, once adjusted correctly you could walk around with the xbow shouldered all day long! The red dot sight i am happy with though it must be said i have owned better ones in the past, after a few shots the mounting came slightly loose which you need to keep an eye on otherwise zeroing will become a regular task, however if like me you are using xbow purely for fun target practice then it works a charm. My first impressions of the bolts (being lightweight and alloy) led me to think that after the first few shots and/or withdrawal from target they would bend or break, far from it! very good quality with which you should get many shots from and have removable tips for fitting broadheads (which i look forward to trying in the near future!) I have not attached the included quiver, it looks the part but i personally find it adds unnecessary bulk to the xbow i would recommend using a standard belt attached leather archery quiver. Overall this is an excellent crossbow with great value for money, would recommend to anyone on a budget or anyone looking to purchase their first full size xbow. Reviewer: Leanne from Eastbourne Brought this crossbow a while back whilst owning other crossbows including pistol ones i have to say this was bar far the most impressive 150lbs one the 3 dot site isnt the best but saying that is is more than accurate enough once set up to get grouping of less than an inch at 30 meters and i would be very surprised if you can find one that is of the same quality for the same amount of money, the crossbow itself is stable and solid and easy to assemble, the string that came with it is ok but the spare strings they sell at blades and bows seem slightly better (may just be me ) the only regret i had with it is i should have spent that extra few quid and got the 175lbs jaguar instead of just placing a second order today for the 175lbs one in conclusion super delivery great service from blades and bows and you wont find this crossbow cheaper on the net so dont waste your time looking like i did. How do they sell such a great quality product for such a low price ? Spoke to Nick over the phone as I had a few questions about my planned purchase . I initially fancied a cheetah 185lb bow but after a quick chat about usage Nick talked me into the jaguar kit which was over £150 cheaper than what I planed on spending and said it offered the best performance per £ and would be more than adequate power wise for what I wanted and pushed the benefit of a re curve bow over a compound bow for fun use and value . When your string wears out they only cost £5 for a re curve and can be diy fitted (the stringing aid that came in the kit is great) where a compound bow would need special tools to re string so would be a lot more expensive over time . I `m really glad I listened to his advice and its rare these days for a shop to tell you the cheaper option is the best . The other thing worth mentioning is it came next day . So to sum it up sound honest advice , outstanding quality . awesome value and next day delivery . Ive never had mail order service quite like it . Reviewer: ryan from northern ierland this bow was a present from my partner had it a few months now and what can i say its by far the best bow for the money and in practise is more accurate at distance than a more expensive one can bullseye a standard archery targetat about 70m which is not possible with the more expensive one blades and bows is one of the best sites i have ever bought nething off i am also a collector of knives and have bought sever off them all have been of an unbetable price and of superb quality and dilivery is excelently fast and the staff are more than friendly i would recomend them to annyone looking for knives or arvhery equiptment Reviewer: Daimien from Newbury well bought one of these and recieved it today, very impressive service from Blades and Bows. UK Mail was the slow factor as did not get this til just shy of 7pm. The product is brilliant, excellent package, sight is fantasic just needs to be zero'd. The stock is a nice alloy wel worth the money. So pleased I bought this. Reviewer: Rob from South East  I purchased the Jaguar set at it's offer price (plus £10 postage). This is probably the best cheap crossbow you can get for that kind of money. The other cheap 150lb type crossbow has a poorer trigger mechanism, the sight rail isn't as good, and the foot brace just swings down when you move. The package contained more than I thought, with the quiver, arm sling, goggles, rail wax, stringing string and a not too bad red dot sight. The only bad thing about this bow was that the holes in the foot brace were not lined up with the holes in the body of the bow. This meant I had to slightly open up the holes in the foot brace with a needle file, to be able to bolt the foot brace onto the front of the crossbow properly. Reviewer: Christopher Toone from Derby As others have said the delivery speed is awesome, order completed by 4pm delivered at my door at 7.30am next morning. This bow kit is a good buy at the price i paid for it. tried it out today, and once the red dot site was zeroed it was pretty accurate. the weaver rail on this bow also has elivation adjustment and so with the dot site zeroed with the rail level at 20m i could elivate the bow by turning to the 8 different settings on the weaver rail. ie: number 4 setting gave correct elivation for 40m. the kit is also good stuff, this kit was priced from £126 up to £150 elsewhere so as i say a bargain.
